In the four major concepts of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Winter Paralympic Games, "green" is put in the first place. The National Speed Skating Stadium "Ice Ribbon" is the only newly built ice competition venue in Beijing, which follows the concept of green construction. The surface of the venue adopts a curved photovoltaic curtain wall, which is made of 12,000 pieces of ruby blue photovoltaic glass, taking into account the two major demands of architectural aesthetics and green construction. The Winter Olympics venue "ice flower" is a more efficient and simple combination of photovoltaic and architecture, with 1958 photovoltaic panels on the roof and the photovoltaic power generation system of about 600 kilowatts. The hollowed-out grille curtain wall on the periphery of the building forms a space that combines reality and fiction with the main building. When the night falls, under the energy storage and power supply of the photovoltaic system, it presents flakes of shining snow, adding a dreamy color to the venue.
