Solar Tracking System

What is a solar tracker?
A solar tracker is a device that moves through the air to track the sun. When combined with solar panels, solar trackers allow the panels to follow the path of the sun, generating more renewable energy for your use.
Solar trackers are typically paired with ground-mounted solar systems, but recently, roof-mounted trackers have entered the market.
Typically, the solar tracking device will be attached to a rack of solar panels. From there, the solar panels will be able to move with the movement of the sun.

Single Axis Solar Tracker
Single-axis trackers track the sun as it moves from east to west. These are typically used for utility-scale projects. Single-axis trackers can increase yields by 25% to 35%.

Dual Axis Solar Tracker
This tracker not only tracks the sun’s movement from east to west, but also from north to south. Dual-axis trackers are more common in residential and small commercial solar projects where space is limited, so they can generate enough power to meet their energy needs.
