Under the guidance of the REPowerEU plan, the EU plans to achieve a grid-connected photovoltaic target of more than 320GW by 2025, and further expand to 600GW by 2030.

At the same time, the EU decided to formulate a law to mandate that all new public and commercial buildings with an area greater than 250 square meters after 2026, as well as all new residential buildings after 2029, are equipped with photovoltaic systems. For existing public and commercial buildings with an area greater than 250 square meters and after 2027, the mandatory installation of photovoltaic systems is required.
