Strategic Collaboration on BIPV Innovation: Xinyi Glass Visits Solar First Group

Background: To ensure premium BIPV product quality, Solar First sources specialized glass for its solar modules from globally renowned manufacturers, including AGC Glass (Japan, formerly Asahi Glass), NSG Glass (Japan), CSG Glass (China), and Xinyi Glass (China).  Key components comprise float glass, tempered glass, insulating Low-E glass, and vacuum insulating Low-E glass.

On July 21, 2022, Xinyi Glass Engineering (Dongguan) Co., Ltd. ("Xinyi Glass") executives visited Solar First Group.  The delegation comprised Vice President Liao Jianghong, Deputy General Manager Li Zixuan, and Sales Manager Zhou Zhenghua.  They were hosted by Solar First Group President Ye Songping and Managing Director Zhou Ping to discuss collaborative support for Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) product R&D.

During the visit, Xinyi Glass and Solar First Group conducted a tri-party video conference with a key Japanese client of Solar First Group.  Discussions focused on market strategy, technical support mechanisms, and current order fulfillment.  Both companies affirmed their strong commitment to deepen cooperation and achieve mutual excellence.  All meetings concluded successfully.

Moving forward, Xinyi Glass and Solar First Group will strengthen their partnership.  Xinyi Glass will support Solar First Group’s expansion in the solar PV market, while Solar First will continue innovating in renewable energy under its customer-centric strategy.  This collaboration advances their shared goals of delivering comprehensive BIPV solutions and supporting China’s "Emission Peak and Carbon Neutrality" strategy alongside the vision of "New Energy, New World."
